Day 1: Arrival in Madurai

Madurai is one of India’s oldest living cities, with a legacy spanning over two millennia. Once the capital of the powerful Pandya dynasty, it remains a prominent centre for Tamil culture, temple architecture, and classical traditions.

Upon arrival at Madurai Airport or Railway Station, our representative will receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, begin your city tour with the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, built to commemorate the celestial wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and celebrated for its towering gopurams and intricate carvings. Continue to Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, an ancient rock-cut temple dating back to the 8th century during the Pandya reign. Later, visit the grand Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, constructed in 1636 and admired for its majestic pillars and Indo-Saracenic design. Conclude the day with visits to the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Alagar Kovil before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Madurai – Rameshwaram

Rameshwaram is among the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India and forms an integral part of the Char Dham Yatra. Deeply connected to the epic Ramayana, it is believed to be the place where Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva before crossing to Lanka.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival and hotel check-in, proceed to visit the revered Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, renowned for its magnificent corridors and detailed temple architecture. Continue to Agnitheertham, located along the eastern shore near the temple, where pilgrims take a sacred dip. Further explore Dhanushkodi, the scenic ghost town at the edge of the island, along with Ramar Padam and the legendary Adam's Bridge. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 3: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari, located at the southernmost tip of mainland India, is a major pilgrimage and tourist destination. It is uniquely positioned at the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean, making it geographically and spiritually significant.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kanyakumari. Upon arrival and check-in, set out to explore the town’s prominent attractions. Visit the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built in honour of Swami Vivekananda where he is believed to have meditated.
